A sneak peek into how I get my inspiration…

A sneak peek into how I
get my inspiration...

Are you feeling shy, nervous or worried?

Wondering how to feel better about your life and where you’re headed?

Hoping to get inspired, but each day seems just like the last?

You’re not alone.

So many women I’ve spoken to struggle to get out of bed in the morning. I mean, where’s that youthful energy gone? What happened to your inspiration?

If you feel like that, I’d like to share one little secret with you today.

Do you want to know when I get my best inspirations?

Do you want to know what helps me to leap out of bed with eager anticipation?

The secret is in my morning routine.

Do you want to have a sneak peek into how I start my day?

In fact, my most creative time of the day is before I even get out of bed. When I wake up, either with or before my alarm, I lie in bed and ask myself a question. It might be about what to share with you in my weekly tip. It might be about ideas for my upcoming challenge. Or it might be about a personal goal which I’m trying to achieve, or a healthy habit which I’m wanting to build.

Whatever the question of the day – I lie there, open to whatever ideas may come my way. If anything comes, I write it down.

Then I get up, and I start my day – nearly every day – with a morning routine.

My morning routine includes:
– Meditation,
– Journaling,
– Reading something inspiring,
– Going outside, and hopefully listen to birds singing,
– And sometimes prayer or sending compassion to people I care about.

I encourage women in my Shy to Shining coaching program to create healthy morning and evening routines to support them in a positive way, as they build up confidence and self-compassion.

Do you have a morning routine? What’s in yours?
